About DBA Software Inc.

DBA Software Inc. traces its roots back to Hart Systems, a family business that manufactured watering and feeding systems for the poultry industry. At its peak under Warren Hart's management, Hart Systems had over 200 employees and was involved in sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, plastic molding, machining, and assembly.

In 1986, Warren's son, Mike, who grew up in the business, set out on his own to use his experience to sell software and furnish consulting services to small and midsize manufacturing companies. Mike eventually represented five different ERP systems. After several years of doing this, Mike felt there had to be a better answer than traditional ERP for the many manufacturers who could benefit from something simpler and less costly.

Mike asked Warren to join him in a new venture and together they founded DBA Software Inc. in 1991 based on the simple concept that by creating flexible manufacturing software and selling it directly to businesses at an affordable price, the company could deliver a viable alternative to traditional ERP systems.

The concept proved a winning one as the company's original product, now named "DBA Classic", eventually acquired a customer base of more than 4000 companies.

In the year 2000 the company in collaboration with its affiliate, DBA Asia Pacific Ltd., began work on a next-generation product that would go beyond discrete manufacturing to include custom, process, and just-in-time manufacturing, as well as service management. After three years of development, the "DBA Software Ezijobz Edition" was released in the summer of 2003.

Today, the DBA Software Ezijobz Edition and DBA Classic are sold and supported via offices and affiliates in the United States, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, and the United Kingdom.
